Debatree Chakrabarty, Howrah : Pulled by Holy Rope, Trinity’s Rathyatra at Central Avenue – Kolkata. All India Baul Kiran & Devotionsl Singer Welfare Trust organised Rathjatra from Central Avenue to Sovabazar Lal Mandir. Unlike previous years this year Rathjara is two days celebration. The coincidence of Nabajouban and Netra Utsav, yhe pulling of the chariot that began yesterday and be continued till today.
On the auspicious day of 7th July 2024, the devotees, monks, people from all corner of State thronged the Holy place to pull the Rath and become the eye witnessed of the celebration. The Trinity on the chariot inclusive of extreme left side Lord Jagannath, extreme right Lord Balaram and in the middle Goddess Subhadra.
The glorious procession started at 11 am from Central Avenue with acclamation and chants of “Jay Jagannath” having had sound of chonchs, tambourines cymbals filled the air the chariot of the Holy Trinity’s were pulled.
Siddhartha Ghosh Naskar President of All India Kirtan, Baul and Devotional Welfare Trust said, every year and this year also with arts and culture we celebrate this Rath Yatra. One of the organisers said, every year and in future also we would like to celebrate this Rath Yatra with these cultural people. With orange flag, plagger and artists hold the rope and started the Rath Yatra celebration.
